Host Home Providers (Boulder County and Northern Denver Metro Areas)

Host Home Providers are independent contractors who provide residential care in their homes for Community Link clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The ideal Host Home Provider is kind, attentive, patient, willing to support their customer’s efforts to live a full life and able to help them maintain their desired level of independence.

The specific types of support and supervision requirements are customer-specific and can vary greatly. Some examples may include assisting with personal care tasks, money management, attending medical appointments and administering medications, housekeeping tasks and providing transportation to allow the customer to participate in community activities of their choosing.

This role does not require prior experience or formal training; we will provide plenty of hands-on training and ongoing support throughout your time with us.

The basic requirements for host home provider applicants are as follows:

  • Completed application and applicant’s statement
  • Background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Letter of automobile insurance coverage and limits
  • Current Mechanic certified vehicle inspection on state form
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Current Colorado driver’s license
  • Social Security card
  • CPR/First Aid training
  • Qualified Medication Administration Professional (QMAP) Certification
  • Completion of a Defensive Driving course
  • Copies of certificate(s) for any previously completed training in the areas of Client Rights, HIPAA/Confidentiality, behavioral support, infection control, etc.

Host Home Provider Pay Range:
$2,170-$6,170+ per month, which includes compensation for room and board. Monthly rates vary depending upon the individual’s care needs.

Community Connectors (Boulder)

Community Connectors work side-by-side with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and supervision in a day program setting. Activities may include arts and crafts, group exercise, reading, virtual educational tours, games and more.

The ideal candidate is willing to work in a group setting with three to four participants or 1:1 with participants in the community. Part of this role includes being willing and able to help our day program participants with basic hygiene and personal care as needed.

This role does not require prior experience or formal training; we will provide plenty of hands-on training and ongoing support throughout your time with us. All applicants must pass a background check, Department of Motor Vehicles check and have reliable transportation.

Community Connector Pay Range
$18.25 per hour
