Community Link COVID-19 Policies

Like many other businesses, Community Link and other agencies that serve people with disabilities have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The lives and routines of the people we serve have been disrupted by the changes in community settings.

At Community Link, we take the health and wellbeing of the people we serve very seriously and have adapted our standard practices to the “new normal.” Below is a current list of changes and adaptations we have made to our programs. We will update this page as new information becomes available.

General Guidelines

*All persons entering the Community Link building are required to wear a facemask while inside unless you are up to date on eligible booster shots.

*Before entering the building, you must call the person you are scheduled to meet with before entering. They will meet you outside to escort you to your destination.

*No one will be permitted access to the building if they have any of the following symptoms: coughing and congestion, shortness of breath, a temperature of over 100.4 Fahrenheit, runny or congested nose, muscle and body aches, sore throat, chills, new loss of taste or smell, headache, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.

*No one will be permitted access to the building if the following statements apply to them: You or any member of your household has been diagnosed with or exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19; you have reason to believe you or a member of your household has been exposed to someone with COVID-19; you or any member of your household has traveled outside of the United States in the last 14 days.

Day Program Guidelines

*Masks are optional for all staff and participants who are up to date COVID-19 vaccinations including eligible boosters while in the Day Program site and community settings. Masks are still required regardless of vaccination status during transportation. If a participant is unable or unwilling to wear a mask, we are unable to serve them at this time.

*All participants will have their temperature checked upon arrival.

*Staff will implement strict and regular sanitation of surfaces and common areas.

If you have questions, please contact Hillary Powell, Day Program Director at hpowell@communitylinkcolorado.org.

Residential

*All regulations listed under the General Guidelines section will apply to host home providers or other staff working in the residential department. If you have questions or concerns, contact your residential coordinator for assistance.

Employment

*Employment is currently still providing on-site supports for individuals who require them in their job. If you have questions or concerns about an individual receiving job support services, please contact Lee Sylvester, Employment Director at lsylvester@communitylinkcolorado.org.
